Rules and regulations of the VPIA

The rules and regulations are applicable to every pilot of the VPIA without exception.

Basics
Virtual PIA requires that all pilots be familiar with their flight simulator.
All pilots must use FSACARS.
Pilots must exhibit professional and realistic behaviour.
A pilot within the VPIA must have knowledge of SIDS /STARS and be able to
make a flightplan.
Assignments
Every pilot within the VPIA is required to make at least one flight per month
to keep his/hers account active, unless there is special reason known to a member
of the staff. At the end of this period the pilot will receive a warning. After
three weeks the pilot will receive a second warning, after this warning the pilot
has one week to make a flight or his/her membership will be terminated.
All assignments are in order and must be flown in order.
Always note the flight number, origin and destination of your flight.
Locate the flight in the 'schedules' section for the departure and arrival times.
Upon starting FSACARS, type in all the correct information and double check.
Start logging from the ramp not from a taxiway or runway. Make sure that your
parking brakes are engaged before starting the FSACARS.
Once you arrive, always taxi to the ramp and stop logging only after turning off
the engines and engaging the parking brakes.
Always fly the aircraft assigned to the flight.
Flight
Never use a flight rate of more than 1X during take off and landing.
You may use up to 4X simulation rate on flights less than 3 hours.
You may use flight rate up to 16X on flights more than 3 hours.
It is strictly prohibited to speed up your flight using SLEW. Any pilot caught
doing so will be terminated.
No. of Flights and Absence
As a member of Virtual PIA, you must log at least 1 flight in a period of 2 months.
