Every pilot within the VPIA is required to make at least 5 flights per month |
to keep his/hers account active, unless there is special reason known to a member |
of the staff. At the end of this period the pilot will receive a warning. After |
three weeks the pilot will receive a second warning, after this warning the pilot |
has one week to make a flight or his/her membership will be terminated. |
• |
Always note the flight number, origin and destination of your flight. |
• |
Locate the flight in the 'schedules' section for the departure and arrival times. |
• |
Upon starting FSACARS, type in all the correct information and double check. |
• |
Start logging from the ramp not from a taxiway or runway. Make sure that your |
parking brakes are engaged before starting the FSACARS. |
• |
Once you arrive, always taxi to the ramp and stop logging only after turning off |
the engines and engaging the parking brakes. |
• |
Always fly the aircraft assigned to the flight. |
